A Pinch of Knit and a Dash of Purl

Pouch for IPOD Nano

 

   My niece just got an Ipod Nano and I remembered a cute pouch I saw on Craft.  A quick search and a few clicks later I ended up here. Simple enough.

   I first tried it out on some scrap fabric and felt first. Practiced making button holes cause my sewing machine doesn't have an automatic one. As you can see they are not perfect but it'll do.

   Now I'm gonna riffle through my fabric stash and what other cute and quick things I can make.   

  Ravelympics Day 5 update: Still on the body of the coat. 3 more increase rows till the hem.

Ravelympics Day 4

Well I decided at the last minute to join Ravelympics. Here it is Day 4 and I have some progress photos to show. I've decided to knit Flair <ravelry link> by Wendy Bernard.  It's cute and just my style. And I already had it in my queue to knit and had the yarn and needles stashed.  I'm down past the pits already, so this should happen fairly quick. Keep your finger crossed.

This was taken yesterday afternoon.  I'm now 3 inches below the armpits.  Won't get any knitting done till tonight when my girls come over for knitting movie night. Tonight pick Muriel's Wedding, which I absolutely love.  Should be lots of fun.
