I took this from Kat. I made an addendum to question 10. My husband laughs (and is a great sport) about all the celebrities in my man harem. Its keeps growing and growing and the top 5 are constantly changing.
1. I’ve been hooked on the needles since: I picked up a knitting book and taught myself to knit. I'm glad I stuck to it. Though I gotta tell ya, I almost gave up. It took me a whole day to figure out how to cast on one stitch using the long tail method.
2. I’m still a virgin, but not for long: Fair Isle. I don't know, all those bobbins and floats. Let me get a few more color projects under my belt then I'll jump in.
3. She’s crafty - she gets around…to : I like all needle crafts though I like knitting more. Photography, Cooking, Painting.
She’s crafty - she’s always down…for: laughing. I'm all about the fun. Though some alone time would be great, or hanging out with my girlfriends with no potty break interruptions would be nice. Though I miss my chunky monkey terribly when I'm away from her. Date/Movie Nite with my husband. Don't get around to it much anymore but I'm all for traveling. Destination: anywhere. I love road trips, plane trips, would love to take a train trip.
She’s crafty - she’s got a gripe…about : The cost of yarn. I mean, I don't mind knitting with what's available at my major chain store cause it's easy to get my hands on but I've seen some gorgeous yarn online and at my LYS and to make a sweater or cardigan you need 7-10 (sometimes more) skeins and at $12 - $20 a pop? Whew. I guess that's why I stick to sweaters for the 2 and under crowd and stick to machine washable fibers.
She’s crafty - and she’s just my type. What type of knitter are you? I knit continential style (I'm a lefty) I have 3 WIP's on the needles. I don't watch much t.v. during the day (though I'm home all day) when the t.v. is on during the day it's on Noggin or Nick JR. I knit when CM is napping or at night when she's asleep. Though lately she's been letting grandma bathe her, read to her and tuck her in so my knitting time at night is starting a little early.
4. I’m dying to try: NORO! Any of them. I don't know why I haven't tried it yet. I'm too busy buying sock yarn I guess.
5. I gravitate towards colors like: I like basic colors like Red, Black and White. That's what most of my wardrobe is. I'm starting to branch out to more jewel tones. I'm in love with teal, dark teal. I love to knit for my little one and with her complexion anything works great for her, mainly pinks and purples.
6. My most cherished possession (kids, pets, family don’t count) is: My wedding ring. When I got pregnant my hands and feet would swell to 3 times their normal size. So I wasn't able to wear it. Then after the baby came I wouldn't wear it cause I was afraid of scratching her. So when I finally felt like I could wear it again I couldn't find it. For months I thought I lost it. When I found it, I cried alot sobbed big heaps of tears. I love it, I love it, I love it. Now I need to get a jewlery box or something so I can put it there if I ever get pregnant again.
7. I’m stuck on an island, what am I reading? Anything. I love novels (even the smut romance ones) biographies, mysteries, poetry, short stories, knitting and craft books
8. If I were about to be executed and I was offered a last meal , I’d be dining on: Oh, that's tough. It depends what season it is.
Soup: Chicken tortilla soup or gazpaho
Veggies Butternut squash or tomato/cucumber salad

9. Music to knit by: anything, really. I would hate to stop knitting just cause I needed to add more songs or I got tired of one peticular kind of music. The shuffle all button is all I need.

13. My favorite smell? my daughter, after (not before) her bath. The air right before it rains. Almost any flower.
14. Not many people know this about me: Umm. there's lots. Let's see. I have a scar on the top center of my left foot, right below my toes. It looks like someone carved a notch out. I got that scar from stepping on a pitch fork. I remember bits and pieces of what happened but not the pain. I was around 9 years old and my cousins and I were running around playing tag. I was barefoot, we all were barefoot. The grass was tall and no one saw it laying on the ground. We must have been running around the backyard for what seemed like hours. I stepped on the pitch fork and it went straight through my foot . Don't remember much after that.
