Finally some nice weather here. We got out the moon-jump-bouncer-thing and chunky monkey jumped away till her hearts content. She was so excited to go outside she did not want to go back in. I don't blame her. I would be excited too.
I made the mistake of letting the time fly and before I knew it , it was 7 o'clock and chunky monkey still had not taken a nap, so she was cranky and there was nothing to do but to let her go to sleep. Now, she's a 2 yr old with no social obligations, so her sleep schedule is not normal. She goes to sleep when we do, and since my husband and I are night owls her bed time is not until 10 or 11pm. Of course, that means sleeping beauty does not get up before 9am. Which is nice cause I have a couple of hours to myself in the morning before she gets up. Well, since she fell asleep at 7 pm, she woke up at 1 am and did not go back to sleep until 5 am. So what did we do, we had a tea party, watched Pooh's Heffalump Movie, did a load of laundry and I felted this bag. A bag that has been ready to felt for awhile i was just a little apprehensive to do since it is my first time purposely felting. There it is drying. I stuffed a beach towel and some little hand towels inside it to help shape and dry it. I gotta say, this will not be my one and only time doing this. Well worth the effort. Yarn: 2 skeins Cascade 220 100% wool (don't know the color, lost the label) Pattern: Buttonhole Bag. I made it lot larger than what the pattern called for. But I'm very happy with it.
